Updating your zoom on desktop and mobile devices
Zoom updates the software frequently! Almost weekly. If you have not updated recently, in order to have the most secure, reliable experience with new features, check that your Zoom software is current before joining your meeting. (as of March 8, 2022, the current version is 5.9.6 – which also can auto-update itself now.)
Your Zoom version must be current within the previous 9 months in order to function. When you log in to your Zoom software, you may see a reminder banner to update your software. A simple single click to download and install the software from the banner.

On a Desktop/laptop computer:
Launch Zoom on your computer
Click on your picture at the upper right corner of the Zoom window. and drag down to “Check for update”
On a Mobile device:
Check your app store.
